So I'm currently in Year 12 and looking at an estimated ATAR of 97.5

This would get me into UTS law and UNSW Commerce but my heart is set on UNSW Law.

Would it be better for me to do UTS Law and try an external transfer to UNSW (so even if I don't get in I'm still studying Law somewhere)

Or should I do Commerce at UNSW, aim for a Distinction WAM and attempt internal transfer into Law

Thanks guys :)

Speak to rivalry of troll about the UTS to UNSW law transfer.

If your heart is set on law, you're taking a risk by going into UNSW comm. I'd pick UTS law and transfer as most of your units will be credited (not IBP/ECO) and if things don't turn out the way you planned, you'll still be enrolled in a reputable law course.

It's all about risk management imo

Exactly what happened to me.
I'm now at UTS Law and loving it. Still might transfer to Syd/UNSW next year for personal reasons, not academic.
UTS is a great place to do law.
