taxation law doesnt have n e accounting prerequisite subjects
meaning its pretty much law based, coz its only prerequisite was the business law and ethics subject

yea steph any more than 21 u'l need to ask 4 special consideration (via an e-requst) to the business faculty........my student admin
21? really? i'm doing 22 but wanted to do 28... but thanks anyway matty :)

another question- I have a timetable clash for two auto-allocated subjects but the lecturer/tutor of one said that she would move her class back an hour so I could do both. Who would I have to talk to about being allocated to both activities anyway?

and! Does UTS have subjects that run in the winter break at all?

hmm joe looks like we are in the same economics for business lecture on wednesday morning. =)

is anyone else wondering why the majority of business subjects are being held in CB campus (for me, anyway) instead of CM?

It's not like CB and CM are far from each other. It's like 1 block. Anyways, it's because of the large lecture theatres in Bld 4 and Bld 6 that hold 300-450 people. There are no lectures in Bld 5 that hold that many people.

ya i walked it today took like less than 5mins =)

but i was more worried that the system had a glitch or something cause at orientation today this guy kept telling us (all your business subjects will be in CMbuilding 5).

thanks jasee :)

'If you have been successfully allocated to this activity it will appear under 'Your Current Allocations Screen'

and its there, and what is 'cnr' an acronym of anyway?

Re: 2006 Timetable and Subjects

we had a choice? im doing the same except not marketing foundations but business law and ethics, doing marketing in spring.

monday: 5pm medsci
tuesday: early chem prac and law and ethics afterwards
wednesday: that chem lec, another law and ethics and later a medsci prac
thursday: late start - medsci@4pm and accounting straight after
friday: chem in the morning and accounting@2pm

Re: 2006 Timetable and Subjects

I just need some clarification on something:

The codes that you put in the timetable builder... do I get them from 'My Student Admin' then go to 'My Allocations' and then plug the codes in?

For instance, this comes up

"3130_AUT_U_1_S
Mathematical Modelling 1 - Lec1 Fri 16:00 U CB04.02.23 TBA 60 3/3-14/4, 5/5-9/6"

But when I put 3130 in, and go to grid view, it just shows up a whole heap of lectures/tutorials (of which I have no idea if im allocated to!)

This is all too confusing for me :(

Re: 2006 Timetable and Subjects

Why does my timetable seem a lot more packed than all of you..
I'm doing B Eng/B Bus and here's my week:

Mon: Intro To Elec Engineering 9am --> 1pm
Tue: Object Oriented Prog/Elec Eng 2pm --> 6pm
Wed: Mathematical Modelling 1 4pm-->6pm
Thurs: Obj Oriented Prog 1pm -->4pm + Physical Mod 5pm --> 9pm :(
Fri: Math Mod 1pm -->2pm, Physical Mod 2-4pm, Math Mod 4-5pm..

W..T..F that's like.. 21.5hrs/week. is that normal?

Just a guess here, but would it be because you're doing a double degree?
