Looks to be IMAP. You can get it to automatically forward your mail to a POP3 account.

a POP3 account is a web based mail account. ie Hotmail.

you can get the uws mail to forward to another address.. thus saving you the pain of checking ur mail every week or whenever u need to check it.

And truthfully.. unless you use ur uws email account, it will just be a spam account for the admin staff. I use my account for my resumes since my other addresses arent really 'resume material'

nah but when i went into the workshop registration site the 2nd one was on it as the default.. so i just closed my Internet browser coz i dunno wat da hell to do LOL

n e wayz its good to see that our pweb, uws email, worhshop registratoin.. all use the same password

I know, i would forget otherwise. Is there a way we can change our uni account addresses? instead of having our student number, can we put our names? I feel somewhat like a criminal with a huge long number

im not gonna use my uni password
when i registered for workshop i changed to uws email to my own email
hehehee so when they send me a confirmation letter it will goto my own personal email account

Yes, i understand - but by the same token, i don't want all this UWS crap going to my hotmail account.

You can either use ########@studentmail.uws.edu.au or ########@scholar.uws.edu.au - both do the same job.
