If you're in MBBS at UWS can you please post your ATAR on this thread so i get a general idea of whether or not its actually possible to get in with a mid-90's ATAR

UWS don't consider ATAR when choosing med applicants, you only need to be above the cutoff, e.g. two ppl with same UMAT but one gets ATAR of 96 and other gets 99.95 are considered equal when choosing for interviews.

That doesn't make it super easy to get in, there's like 140 interview spots, 70 of those are reserved for GWS applicants and you're still competing against thousands.

It's a fair indicator of how well a student they will be before they even come close to being a doctor.

Agreed. Although I personally think that postgrad med is a better option compared to undergrad, because that weeds out a lot of the ones only in it for cash and have no real passion for what they study.
