Vacancies in 2008 science courses (1 Viewer)

This year is the first time since 2006 (the UAC archive doesn't go any further) that there are vacancies in the BSc, BSc (Adv) and even the BSc (Adv Maths).

The very fact that Adv Maths has vacancies is really surprising.

That doesn't sound very encouraging at all, but it would make sense if intake has increased. Has it?

Well, at least it means I've got in easily (the UAC offers page is still down) but it just doesn't seem very reassuring.

Hmm, the demand for generic Science courses seem to be dropping. I personally do not believe the vacancy reflect the significant increase in number of places available.
