I am a MASSIVE vampire novels reader. I have read The Vampire diaries book 1 & 2 they are good.

I love Stephenie meyers Twilight saga even though they can be a little shallow but meh nothings perfect. I have read the first book in The Vampire Academy series which was also good (by richelle mead).

Blue Bloods is also good.

I read the young adult ones because the adult ones a mostly porn based and it shits me. :)

Yep Sherrilyn Kenyon is a go. <3 her Dark Hunter series.
Christine Feehan's books are pretty god awful. Though I've only read 2 of them.. but still.
i've only read 'Dark Demon'...and yeah wouldn't read another willingly...

I have read that series by Kerrelyn Sparks and i can say that it they are good books but there are many better vampire books to read.
For example- The black dagger brotherhood series by J.R. Ward or
Cassandra Palmer saga by Karen Chance.;)

haha these books have been a craze in my group lately and yes i've fallen into the trap. i also didn't want to get into any reading obsessions during hsc (spesh with major works all due so soon!) but i couldn't help myself haha. i have been able to put down new moon for a few days though now at least. i'm promising myself like a chapter every few days as a treat for heeps of school work...we'll see how that goes lol.

If you want some vamp fiction with a laugh try the UNDEAD series by Mary Janice Davidson, a vamp queen with a shoe addiction!!! This is really only good for laughs

Keri Arthur's nightwatcher series is a guilty pleasure but gets better as the books progress. Books 4 and 5 are excellent!

Twilight is good, but after just finishing Breaking Dawn last night i am still unsure... judge for yourself though.
