Video/Audio editor (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, I have all these videos files and audio files. I want to create movies with them.

I want to combine the video files into one and put music in the background and pick to change the music with different points in the video.

Any programs (freeware) that u guys can recommend? Its like a movie maker.

Outside of iMovie and Movie Maker I don't think there are too many 'free' video editing programs out there.
