Violin shoulder,neck & jaw pain (1 Viewer)

I don't know why i can't hold the violin for long because my shoulder,neck and jaw hurts so much, even though i have a shoulder rest.. this is the reason why i quit violin
1 year ago and now i want to continue my lessons, and i'm 20 now..

you need a better shoulder rest. it shouldn't hurt at all.
i had this problem when i was younger, then upgraded and it wasn't a problem anymore.

what kind do you have?
