Open the run box and type:

CHKDSK /R

If that doesn't work, you could always use CCleaner or create a new file in the temp directory where specified.

Get linux.
Well said.

Or, get Safari, it has an option which, when turned on, prevents recording the sites you visit and will not store cache, cookies, etc. It's known as "Private Browsing" or Porn Mode.

Very simple solution tbh, heres what you do:

1) Grab your Vista install CD and smash it to a million pieces.
2) Get hold of XP or Linux or both.
3) Format your HDD.
4) Intall XP or Linux.
OPTIONAL: Install XP and then Linux to have a dual boot system, but make sure to partition your HDD. Use Linux for porn because you cant access the Partition via Windows because they are two diffrent filesystems. NTFS & EXT2/3.

Where's all the data stored though? It'll still be recoverable if it has been written into the hard drive. That's not the case with Safari though.

I personally use Safari, and yes, the Private Browsing function would seem quite useful for you. ;)

Are you experiencing any other issues with your computer? It could be a few things.

Yes lets use Safari a browser that uses ... wat? .... 5x ... 10x ... ? more memory then any other browser.

Use Opera its currently the fastest browser out and uses the least memory.
