Hey,

I feel the need to volunteer (paid work would be nice but not a priority) over the summer and was thinking Vinnies would be nice :) I haven't had interviews before as previous work was just minor waitressing jobs where they just hired on the spot, so I'm a tad nervous. I know it's a volunteering position which makes it seem not that difficult to get... I'm just wondering, what sort of questions do they ask? How formal do I dress etc?

Thanks

Shouldn't be something to be worried about. Interview will be fairly informal and quick.

So questions like what do you think we (vinnies) do. Why do u wanna volunteer.

Nothing really to grill you. They r always looking for volunteers.

Just wear smart casual

Questions won't be too bad don't worry, don't be nervous.
I did a bit of volunteering there and it was a very relaxed environment.
I can't remember the exact questions but it was mostly just a way to get to know/meet me rather than my abilities/skills, etc.

As said above, smart casual dress would do.

If they're not currently looking for volunteers, then there are many many other volunteering places that you could try. Maybe ask your local council if they could set you up with anything.

Good luck :)
