I want 91. That will get me into digital media... which is the only course I want to do... I have had my heart set on that for an entire year now. If I dont get in....... shit.... i may not even go to uni at all (an entire dream shattered, which I shall blame on the BoS for sure :)

Should be fine. Lazseeker estimates around that based on my final ranks....

All year I had thought i was borderline (ie even if I did make it, it would only be JUST. So yeah I know how you feel, the whole year I thought just how pissed I'd be if the mark rose by much (bdm has been 85/90/90.5 for the past 3 years respectively). Not worried anymore :) Got a letter from unsw confirming my entry into a their access scheme. As a result, my required uai will be lowered. Digital media was 90.5 or 91 or something last year, access bdm was 82 :) Booya baby :D

its all good now

God, what is WITH you people? DO you all go to James Ruse or something? Estimating UAI's to be over 99???? Sheesh!

And selective school students never cease to amuse me: Caringbah Selective High School indeed!

Only spice girl goes to James Ruse, and he'd genuinely get 99.9+
The rest of the 99+ ppl here are extremely smart, as u can see in the Assesment Rank thread - they top or close to top all their subject

Yeah, I think a lot of people on this forum are pretty smart (or they could just be overly ambitious) :D

by the looks of the poll results ... over 10 percent of the people who responded think they are in the top 2% of the state ... maybe only studious people come here ... or maybe they are overconfident ...

or they have been tampering with the poll ...

I think the poll has been tampered with, like all the polls. I don't think 10% of people on this forum willl get 99+.

that may well be true ... but its also possible that we truly have a intellegent lot here ...

i reckon that a 'real uai poll' after the results come out will also be tampered with ...

Yeah I reckon, I mean just look at those polls where everyone is asked to estimate their HSC mark for each of their subjects, and in many cases, the statistics are so wrong. for example like 12% of people think they will get a raw mark over 90% raw mark in the HSC for 4 unit, and I severely doubt that.

yeah the ext2 poll was definitely wrong ... i reckon a raw mark of 90/120 would place you in the top 10% of the state and in that poll we had over 20% i think ... its just wrong ...

Yeah that's what I think to, cos I reckon i'll get around 90/120, and that should get you into the top 10% as you say. I think most people on that forum were full of it.
