What are your thoughts on deciding on a phone between these 3?

The w850i is $120 dearer.

Thanks!

i got myself a w850i. I bought it becuase of its features mainly, if i were you i'd be asking myself what features you are looking for.

w850i has:
1gb memory stick
decent music player (playlists, organise by album artist etc.)
average video and camera (2mp - can print standard size photos well)
and the usual features you get from a sony ericsson
good sized screen + sliding thingy

pretty crappy buttons but you get used to them

btw i've used 2 nokia, 2 sony erricson's a motorola and a samsung phone before, so i know my phones ^^

To me they pretty much seem similar in specs (mainly looking at w850i and 6288).

The 1gb mem stick is something a bit different....but overall I can't decide.

hahaha. yeah right. LG phones are cheap and crap.
Don't even think about saying "Chocolate" either.

And battery life depends on what you do with the phone.

I'd be moving away from the "used-to-ness" of Nokias.

I'd be spending an extra $120 for the SE for better camera, looks and uniqueness (white one - although I'm not sure if I can get my hands on the white yet), 1gb card instead of the 512 which I was getting with the 6288...anything else?

I will be using the phone as a secondary mp3 player - what about the ease of transferring songs onto the phone. I am assuming I would be using an application to do it in either case - no drag and drop?

I am pretty much sure the Samsung is out of the running - want to stay away from the samsung D500/D600-ish look. But I've kept it in there incase it really is a superior phone (same price as 6288)

As only those three models fell off the back of the truck - I have to chose one of them.

You dont really want a Nokia?
and Samsung is out the running?
SE it is for you then. They look rather hawt ;)

Drag and Drop is more likely than an application.
When you connect via USB the card just shows up as a mass storage device and you should be able to just drop yr files. With bluetooth you can just send Right click and send a file (assuming you have a BLuetooth enabled PC)

I've used Nokias since the mobiles are kool boom, so will the change be a HUGE contributing factor to phone choice? I doubt it personally, but I'm not sure what others have experienced.

Should the samsung be out of the running? I just want others' opinions to make up my mind. :p

hmm...really worth that extra $120? sure I can make that in a couple of hrs on the Great Western, but still....
