Anyone out there that does it, loves i,t or has at least experienced the pain of a face plant???

hhahaha yeah i did wakeboarding once i think in year 4 at a camp. it was so fun. i found it way easier than water skiing. i never face planted, just stacked it in other ways, somehow.

i would actually like to try it again someday.

Well I ride horses which my motorbike riding dad and brother insist is supposed to be the most dangerous sport, but I believe beyond doubt that wakeboarding requires the greatest sacrifice for pleasure!

Ahhhh, but that feeling of flying just makes it all worth it!!!

My brother did wakeboarding, till he dislocated both of his shoulders.

I've always wanted to do it, how similar is it to snowboarding?

in some ways its similar to snowboarding but in lot of ways its different. People who do either tend to pick up the other pretty easily. A wakeboard it fat and heavy compared to a snowboard and the water treats you differently to snow!

Yeah ive done it.do it most weekends.its awesome.if ya dont fall off and faceplant or hurt yourself then your not trying hard enough!

I go out about every second weekend. Th water has been great of late and there havn't been many boats out because of the cold conditions. Does anyone Ski?

Wakeboarding is hard...at first at least, then it gets easier...
Remembeer: If you face plant, let go!! Dont hold on or you'll just keep being dragged and gulping down water along the way :/
