for year 10 i had my hair up in a bun. it was loose and low and had bits coming out.

for year 11 i just had my hair down and straight with a fringe.

i'm going to someone else's year 12 formal and i think i'm having my hair down and wavy.

I had the whole barrel curls in a really big bun/smoosh on my head for Yr 10, with a rose stuck in there amongst the curls.

Yr 12 was more casual but still a bit glam, so I curled it all, pinned the front bits back (I also had a side-part) and stuck a flower clip on one side :)

i have seen a few pics of cousin's formals, other friends etc..., and most of the ugys had their hair spiked, so funny cause they all looked the same with it

for yr10 formal, i had my hair all curly, with half pulled back with bits crossed over other bits, and i had a gold tiara aswell.
for yr12, i kinda scrunched up my hair and pulled some hair back and put in a knot at the back of my head.

OMG Delta looks so young there

For yr 10, I had it pulled back into a bun of "worms"

Yr 12 I had it pulled back into a bun with a side part, loose bits falling out, and the bun was like strips of hair 2cm wide all crossed over each other

Year 10 I had curls, was only ruined by terrible dye job.

Year 12 I will have tight curls/ringlets hopefully. Only it will be ruined by my dye job D:

DAMN FORMALS AND HAVING BAD DYE JOBS. x.x

I'd say its the manly jaw, the lack of lip definition and the long face.

To keep to the topic, i think the half-up, half-down styles look the best.

i had my hair in a neat curled ponytail-thing in year 10. i loved it at first but 2 hours afterwards i found myself re-doing it as it kept falling out.

i had my hair dyed even blonder today, i am basically platinum now...
i want to have long veronica lake waves for my formal in 3 weeks.
i cant wait.

Should I have my hair cut for the formal?

Do you think it's necessary for men to do it?

I second that. Nothing worse than a guy with seedy long hair in a suit.
Oh I third that. Whole-heartedly agree
