I want to ask you guys a few questions on these poems. Firstly, which poem would you choose out of the two (Author: Bruce Dawe) if you have to give quotes and analyse the poem. Secondly, which poem has more techniques, quotes and easier to write about for an assignment. Thirdly, I have been given a task to listen to the song "I was only 19" either by John Schumann or The Herd, I want to ask you guys which version you will pick and which poem would you pick having the options: Homecoming or Weapons Training having to relate the poem to the song ie: quotes and reference.
