I'm sure last year it worked if you just typed in Pi lol. But if you go through the special entry thing it is somewhere under there - i don't think it was under greek letters, was somewhere else.

Isn't there a panel that pops up on the left side when you click on the answering space?

its under the greek letter section, you click on the arrow to expand the lower case letters and pie is in there, but pi also works just hit space
