LONDON (Reuters) - A Welsh rugby fan cut off his own testicles to celebrate Wales beating England at rugby, the Daily Mirror has reported.

Geoff Huish, 26, was so convinced England would win Saturday's match he told fellow drinkers at a social club, "If Wales win I'll cut my balls off", the paper said on Tuesday.

Friends at the club in Caerphilly, south Wales, thought he was joking.

But after the game Huish went home, severed his testicles with a knife, and walked 200 metres back to the bar with the testicles to show the shocked drinkers what he had done.

Huish was taken to hospital where he remained in a seriously ill condition, the paper said. Police told the paper he had a history of mental problems.

Wales's 11-9 victory over England at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff was their first home win over England in 12 years.

yeh lol thats what i was thinking, yuo usually make a crazy bet if yuo knwo yuor side wins, so u wont have to do that bet, he bets him self into cutting his testis of, what a man!! (well not ne more)

What is really confusing to m,e is the fact thta most of Wales were convinced that this was their best chance to beat the Poms in about 12 years.
It really wasn't a bet that was like 1000-1.more like 2-1

But this guy was still convinced that Wales would lose - lets face it, the Welsh Rugby Team sucks (especially when compared to the Poms) and they have a bit of a reputation of being chokers.

The dragons are far from crap. They've been on a dramatic surge since 2003 with many world class players, Henson, Williams etc.
Plus England are absoloute rubbish and have a few injuries.
you know that 18 year old centre Tait, the papers in Fleet St gave him the nickname All Bran. Easy to dump and passes through your system in less than an hour. (Referance to being picked up like a baby twice and being smashed and then being subbed off after 60 minutes and hence dropped entirely from the squad.)

Amanda Monti, 24, flew into a rage in May last year after Geoffrey Jones, 37, who had ended their long-term relationship, rejected her advances.

She grabbed him by the genitals, tearing off his left testicle, then hid it in her mouth before a friend of Jones handed it back to him saying "that's yours."
