1 day to melb. 1 day to adelaide. 1.5 days to perth... unless you want to cheat and cut corners... this is non stop driving though

cheating and cutting corners is fun...

and it takes about 10hrs to drive to melb. and 10hrs isnt a day.
and melb isnt in my itinery for when i go to WA.

From Sydney when I went over the last Xmas Hols....we went from Syd - Dubbo
Dubbo - Broken Hill
BH - Port Lincoln
PL - Ceduna
Ceduna - Midura
Midura - Kalgoorlie
Kalgoorlie - Perth

(so a nice slow drive takes between 4 and 7 days depending on nights u stop and how far u want to go each day (remembering that there u gain time as u go across)

whereis.com says that from Sydney to Perth it is 4062.35 km and 55 Hrs 24 Mins NON STOP

So thats about 4
