what's the difference between pre-requisites and requisites?? are they the same??

well i'm just reading it without looking it up so i might be wrong
but "pre" means before, so you have to do it BEFORE the other
but without the "pre" would that mean you just have to do it eventually?

on a similar note, does anyone have the exact (technical) meaning of the word 'excluded' in the context of courses in the virtual handbook?

yes, excluded means once you take this course, youCANNOT take courses that are excluded
so for example, if you take MATHS1131, you are excluded from taking MATHS1141. and vice versa.

you can take it.. but only one will count towards the degree :D

no...webct prevents you from enrolling in excluded courses.
