hmm i think i am going to read pride & prejudice, PROPERLY.
i studied it in year 11 (with ms okenden, glycerine) and i found it incredibly boring... but i studied it again recently in one of my tutes, and after readng the first chapter (however short it was), it was surprisingly amusing :D

oh yeah, i also need to read "the old man and the sea" (or is it "by the sea")?

I've been trying to find a copy of that, but it's been difficult! *sighs*

For school I'm currently reading:

- The Myth of Male Power, Warren Farrell
- Iron John, Robert Bly
- Textual Poachers, Henry Jenkins
- The Revengers Tragedy

For the fun of it:

- Anna Karenina, Tolstoy. I've been meaning to read it for so long, and as I seem to have lost my copy of Crime and Punishment, I figured I'd get started on this. :D

I just finished the extraordinarily hard-to-find (out of print, got them off ebay) sf trilogy by Robert J. Sawyer, called the Quintaglio Ascension (Far-seer, Fossil-hunter, Foreigner). Wonderful reading.

Finished reading 'The Real Thing' and;

Roland Barthes-Mythologies.

Currently have to have read various texts for the sake of preparing notes. Thrilling stuff.
