Software Design and Development didn't count for me. I got 95 for that, 7th in the state! And it didn't even count...

if only we didn't have to include english...

The guy who got 3rd in the state in physics 2004 only counted 1 of those units. [I mean he still got 100 either way, but it's funny]

Umm, I think it's because in this particular year, there were many people who get in the upper bands in Music 2. Because of that, you would have been in a lower percentile with an 83 than if you got an 81 in Drama, so maybe thats why your Drama mark was worth more, because you comparatively did better in Drama than Music.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, thaks Boxxxhead, that makes perfect sense. In fact the music exam was really easy this year. Fortunately I got 5 uai points higher than i needed so no harm done either way!

i done 12 units, adv eng, eng ext, 3u maths, 4u maths, chem, economics, stud. of rel.

and it turned out that eng ext (43/50) and sor (46/50) didnt count, grrrrr...

But did that make sence according to the rest of your marks? I mean 46/50 seems pretty good. Maybe the SOR exam was just too easy.

I got:

Eco - 97
English - 91
Business Studies - 94
Ancient History - 95
General Maths - 93
History Extension - 49
English Extension - 44

Interestingly... English Extension didn't count! One unit of General Maths contributed to my UAI instead - considering there's only a five mark difference between 93 and '88', it just goes to show that General Maths isn't the terrible scaler everybody makes it out to be.

Music 2--85/100 didn't count. Guess you and I have something in common philip.watt. Damn Eng Ext counted--40/50. I didn't try all year and really bullshitted the exam. If I had tried harder in Eng Ext, like jgeo2000 with MAths Ext 1, I would've pushed myself over the UAI of 97 line.

Mathematics didn't count, and thank goodness for that since 72 was my mark. For everyone who's wondering if they would have done better if a different subject was counted, your UAI is calculated so that you receive the best possible outcome (or at least that's what I'm told).
