What do I need to get a 94+ Atar? I dont know what to aim for... (2 Viewers)

I got 94.15 which I was a little disappointed in as my teachers always told me I'd get higher but I got 90 in advanced English 43 in extension English 90 in mathematics 41 in extension maths 83 in Chem which didn't count 90 in bio and 89 in pdhpe and school was ranked about 200

It looks like you did really well!
But I'm just wondering, how much a school's ranking can affect one's atar?

School ranks are irrelevant to your atar but its rather the strength of your cohort. If your cohort flunked the externals and you're not 1st, you're assessment mark will be dropped as well.

this is definitely true, i got 93 mx2 exam and 81 assessment for coming 3rd in a cohort of 6 (lowest was near 60 exam). But ATAR came out 97.80, school rank is somwhere 400-500.
