what do they do with student's hsc papers? (1 Viewer)

bit random but seeing that student's don't get back their hsc exams, im just wondering what does the bos do with them? anyone know?

yeah good question.. no-one knows, i think they just store them 4 a while but they eventually get killed (eg:recycled)

no. You forfieted any ability to request a copy of your papers when you signed that blue sheet of paper before each of your exams.

don't they recycle them each year to make the hsc papers over and over again? if not, what a waste of paper each year!!

They store it as archive and then recycle it every 6 years or something. Not too sure about the figures. Not too sure about the whole thing either, but that's what I recall.

Yup, I recalled one BOS officer saying that they'd keep it in their stores for a number of years in case certain students are able to argue to get their paper back for re-marking,etc. Then its all shredded and recycled, of course keeping the band 5/6 and the worst Band 4s, 3s, 2s, & 1s for demonstration purposes.
