I haven't seen the X1400 in action, but the X1600 is great. I assume that the X1400 will be less powerful but it will satisfy most of your needs if you're not a serious gamer.

Notebook gaming has never been what its name suggests.

Mobile SLi is out.

as long as i can run nfs: mw on it i wouldnt care
i would play other games, but most of them require a mouse
e.g. its almost impossible to play cs on a notebook w/o a mouse

unless ur good enough to play cs with only the touchpad

Try Doom without a mouse. It's more fun.

yeh but doom (the original one & doom 2) has the aimbot precoded into the program so you don't need to aim perfectly. and also the monster will die the same way no matter where it get hit.

I've done Quake 3 Arena using a touchpad...didn't get killed too much more than using mouse, although frag count decreased to less than quarter of that with mouse.
