shorts ( i usually turn up in a bonds shirt and jeans and only change to shorts )

i don't go very long. just in and out and straight home for a shower.

i take my wallet, towel, water bottle, ipod, gym timetable, keys etc all in my gym bag which i shove in a locker and just carry around my towel and water bottle (& ipod if im on the cardio machines)

i take a litre bottle of water
towel (compulsory)
ipod so i dont have to listen to anyone elses huffing and puffing *yuck*

heh maybe you could take those glove things. i dont know if anyone else has this problem, but i actually get bruising on my arms from some of the weights..

so, what do the gloves look like and where do you get them from? I just went to rebelsports.com.au, and couldn't exactly find anything suitable.

i dont have any myself, but i would think they would sell them at rebels or a similar sporting store. they are like gloves with holes in them for your fingers to wear while your gripping heavy weights

On your arms? How do you get the bruising and how would gloves prevent it?

You should be able to get them from rebel - I got mine there.

They usually look something like this:


I don't wear mine anymore - I like the feeling of the cold steel in my hands! :) The only negative is the blisters/callouses.

Some of us might be on a tight schedule and do have to be somewhere, we do not have the luxury to go home to refreshen ourselves.

i get bruising on my wrists from one of the weight machines where you push with that part of your arm and no the gloves wouldnt prevent that..but they would just help with the grip
