92-93 according to 2010 and 2009. Depends this year.

This year will probably be a hard year. The raw mark to exam mark conversion fluctuates a lot with physics. Based on recent years, it can range from 92 to 95.

why is this?

is it because 2010-hard, 2011-easier, 2012-hard?

Yes, they seem to do that a lot with many subjects like Maths and Physics.

A very hard year is often followed by an easy year while a very easy year is often followed by a hard year. Same thing happened with MX1, 2011 was quite hard but 2012 (from reports) was "a walk in the park".

I would love a test like 2010. A very perceptive test that was heavily on application of theory.
