I understand that you're stressed, but to come all this way, and to then not answer anything whilst being in the exam with the paper in front of you is pretty silly. Just do what you can on the paper and try your best

I recommend you don't do that! Why waste all that effort prior to the HSC externals just to give up. JUST DO YOUR BEST!!!! and don't stress you already have the potential to excel in these exams.

If you don't attempt the paper, and don't have a legitimate excuse for a misadventure, you will receive a 'no result' for that course and risk not getting your HSC. Why would you not write anything? Just try your best - it's better than getting 0.

if you dont write anything, you automatically get 0.
eco and maths are 2 units each = totally to 4 units.
which means, if you have 6 subjects (11-12 units) they will choose the top 10 units that are the best to count towards your atar.
lets say you have 12 units.
if you decide to not write anything for eco and maths:
12-4=8
you still need 2 more units in order to get a good atar.
it will drag your atar down if you dont even attempt eco and maths.
that would be a total waste of effort and time.
you've already come this far. why not endure the hardship for another 2-3 weeks. it'll be over soon.
there are a lot of other students in the state with the same situation.
