what im supposed to look for in eng ext- culture, text and values (1 Viewer)

I'm so lost on this one...
Does anybody have any idea what I'm suppose to be analysing or looking out for in my 2 texts? I've got the course requirements sheet but what am I looking for in the texts? I'm currently doing Utopia but I have no clue about what I'm suppose to discuss in an essay or anything like that.
I just know that I have to know my texts...
Anybody help me please?

Yeah, I'm doing Utopia. Currently writing a 3000 words narrative on Utopia. You basically need to put the text into the context of the author, look out for different types and different ideas etc. I have a framework sheet of what to analysis, but since I'm writing the narrative I don't have the time to type it up.

so if i was suppose to discuss the concepts of utopia i would look at why the author has written it, according to their context, and why it has been appropriated for so long? or are there any other points?

1) The ideas they raise in their time
2) How the were receive
3) Why are the still valued

Cheap Thrills, well for Utopia we have read "The Disspossed" by Ursula Le Guin and "Utopia" by Thomas More, as well as extracts from "Looking Backwards" and other extracts...

We are talking about English Extension, not English Advance/Standard
