I understand that an E4 is the top band for an extension subject. But is it 40+/50 or 45+/50?

E4 for 4U Maths is different.

uh, iff u read the reports published by UAC and the Board of Studies, you'll realise one-third of the Mathematics extension 1 candidture recieve an E4, which is similar for extension 2....

I should have perhaps been more specific... i meant the scores in the top 10% the available 50 (the 45-50 range) not marks in the top 10% in comparison to others taking the course.
