Honours at uni is basically, when you've achieved a certain GPA or C average you can apply do an an honours year. It generally involves doing research and writing a thesis (for most subjects)pigyar said:Can someone explain what is honours in uni please? Thanks
The difference it would have is instead of a B Commerce, you have a B Commerce (Honours), which normally involves staying an extra year at uni doing a research thesis (depending on the uni/field/etc). Also, depending on whether you get first class honours, second class honours etc, its a nice boost on your resume to show that you were in the top 10% or 15% of your class/year.pigyar said:I want to do commerce. So is Honours like a better qualification?
Yes it is. I know the RBA doesn't take in people without hons. That's if you want to major in economics...pigyar said:I want to do commerce. So is Honours like a better qualification?
