ok i've always been a tnr (times new roman) enjoyer but recently i've switched to eb garamond.
but what i've noticed is tnr is more commonly used – i assume because it's convention as a result of english teachers forcing us to use tnr for submissions. but for drafting, i see a lot of eb garamond being used and i mildly prefer it over tnr.
(these observations have been made from looking at exemplars)
(this is half satire)
