I'm guessing that you got a torrent that big with individual files... Not too many popular, downloadable things would be 45GB (except maybe a hard drive image).

Mine would be dvd images for single files.

Probably ~4gb dvd images is the max ive downloaded. I have a l33t connection. I often download torrents at 1MB/sec

They were both torrent downloads. (they were separate)

For me it would probably be a game at around 3.5gb, unless you count an entire season of a TV show packaged into one torrent... that would be close to 8gb.

My total net usage last month was 80gb. There are 5 people in my family but I'd say at least 78gb of that was mine.

probably a ~5GB .iso file. i downloaded CnC3 last week which totalled to about 7gigs but was split into 2 seperate .tar files.

wtf kind of file is 45gigs? and how the hell is someone meant to distrubute such a file seeing as thats larger than Bluray/HD-DVD?

dual-layer bluray can fit it.

you could also leave it on your hd and stream it to your tv using an apple tv or other streaming device.

that was from a private traker, complete dreamcast image set part 1. part 2 is also 45g's. but i havent goten around to dl that
