the lib is pretty good, obviously better for some things than others. Macquarie shopping centre (like a westfield) is just outside the front gates and there is also a foodcourt and a bar on campus. There are plenty of sporting facilities and stuff (like a golf driving range and a gym). The campus is big green and leafy. Some of the buildings are very 60s/70s (Macq isn't very old) but you can't have everything I s'pose. Go there one day and walk around. :)

its nice

very flat, minimal steps

and u have this massive grass area looking at the lake, very very relaxing

shopping centre across the road..or food court inside

compare to UNSW and USYD (possibly UTS) i feel its more "multi cultural")

I personally like Macq campus...I like the openness - it's very relaxing.

But it's personal preference I guess. Many people like the upbeat and social atmospheres of UTS or UNSW.

the mac campus is very small compared to usyd... which is good because it doesn't take ages to walk from one side to the other!!

the buildings as people have said look abit drab.. but there are alot of green grassy areas which balance it out.

i like the campus.. its quick and easy to get where your going..

the best thing about macquarie.... is sitting around on the grass whether it be by yourself or with friends... the buildings are drab and look like flats from mt druit...... macquarie is really green and pretty though and the green just balances it out..... food places, shops etc are okay (sushi is bloody expensive and kinda crap as well)... but then agen there's always macq centre across the road
