Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
Personally I think He (God) is able but not willing.

So you believe we are created by an omnipotent being yet also have true free will?

Paradox.
Can someone would show me where in the bible God tells us we have free will?
In the Christian faith I've learned that we have a choice of two things : To accept Christ , or to reject him.
Its not like we can use our free will to choose another option...rather , we have a choice between two things.
Why is this turning into the DGE thread?

None of that made sense. Next.
Are you teasing? Of course it makes sense.
You can have toast or bread. You may not have anything else. But i wont force you to choose either one of the two options. Now you CHOOSE.
Simple. :)

Sorry , you do not have free will :) You have two options & you cannot take both.

If you have no free will why do you bother doing anything at all?
:) I'm talking about God here.
Hearing from Christians that the God of the bible gives us totally free will , and then reading the bible where it says you can choose God or reject him...that is just utterly confusing.
We have limited choices. The same as most things in our lives.
I'd go with choosing out of options that are there there, rather than just giving up on life.

Limited choices does not mean no choice at all?
Nah. We have to make choices to function. What am I going to eat : Choice out of limited choices.
Do i believe in God : choice out of limited choices.
Anyway...i better stop talking God stuff here :)

She was convenient; but Dennis came of an earlier civilization with sharper needs. He sought the intangible, the veiled face in the fog, the silhouette at the lighted doorway, the secret graces of a body which hid itself under formal velvet. He did not covet the spoils of this rich continent, the sprawling limbs of the swimming pools, the wide-open painted eyes and delicate pores clogged with crimson grease...

How about guys around the age of... 19-21 which still act like a child.

I'm not talking about sulking and chucking a tantrum. But the type of personality which shows that they don't want to grow up.
The ones which knows when to be serious but would accept the offer of being a child if asked.

Attractive? Unattractive?

Is there anything wrong with that? It's perfectly normal for that age bracket, and just as normal for girls of the same age. They're certainly more mature than the 15-18 bracket.

Don't be in such a rush to grow up.
