i thought it was a good chem paper. It was a challenge, but nothing like. OMG psycho hard sorta thing. couldnt do a couple questions (just had to bs about the lead acid cell chemistry) but i think i should get around 80-85%. Hopefully a bit higher, but might even be lower, who knows.

Ouch this sure is pretty bad, we're all like gonna be scaled down badly, due to how easy the exam was..

Weeeeelll i got a post marked as important! wh00t! :)
I know shit all chemistry, hey... i tried studying and got no where.. and ended up studying for ipt and software...which were the easiest exams.. so i lost outthere.

Supprisingly considering i usually cant hanswer half the chem paper i managed to write something for 90% of the marks.. so overall i think i might've gone better than last time.

I'm expecting 85%. I screwed up industrial chemistry, I forgot what process makes sodium hydroxide and thought it was the solvay process as in the next question. Apart from that I think I did quite good.

I didn't really count what I lost, and you never know how they could just take away a mark or two in the 5-6+ marker questions, so I'm saying 80+, to be on the safe side.

theres alot of very confident people in here :S does everyone realise they dont give half marks in the HSC? that usually reduces marks alot

i got 91 in trial, so im expecting about that even though i found this alot easier

Amen to that aye, all of you who are lapsing into depression, dont worry! These ppl are the top end of the spectrum! Not the average. Think of the thousands who do the HSC, and the handful of those who post on this site.. and if you know about this site, it probably has already helped u out along the way to get better marks!

So chill out... what happens happens, and theres absolutely no point crying about it...

To all of you who did go well, good on ya.

Chem was really hard!! For all the people who have always struggled and dont have any idea / care about chemical equations this was the exam from hell. The multiple choice are supposed to be easy and asure dumb people like myself at a 1 in 4 chance of getting at least 15 marks.

To all the people ie. taxman, who are so confident about their results that is great but to all us normal people we can take joy in knowing that we will never have to do anything like that agian!!

CHEM SUX'S FOR EVER »»» peace out!

Uh-oh for some of you...

Well I really liked my chem exam and loved our option of shipwrecks (think i got >90%) but as for the mentioned scaling, a teacher told me her marker friends marked like the first few hundred chem papers and were so disgusted by the answers they went back to redo them.

So if ur sure u did well, this info would lead to a definite scale up!

Wheeeee...
