You get pipe cleaners and beads from craft stores. I'm not sure where you live, but there is a craft store at Burwood Westfield.

You can get them from Lincraft. They have a couple of branches all over Sydney.

Alternatively, you can raid your nearest Primary School, they will have plenty of pipe cleaners and beads.

sweet!

But now im kinda worried that the pipe cleaners won't be long enough, longest seem to be only 30 cm.

Anyone know any kind of bendable wire thats always sturdy?

thanks

Surely there's some tutorial on Youtube or Google somewhere out there for this? :/ This would have to be the most famous science-project ever? (after the infamous volcano...)

You can stick them together or wrap the ends together.

i used pipe cleaners with beads for the phospate/sugar and i wrapped sticky notes in a cylinder to represent the bases. twist the pipe cleaners together at the end if theyre not long enough :)
