The only movie where I've ever cried uncontrollably was Dancer In The Dark. Just thinking about it now...so sad.

Girl, Interrupted also brought a tear to my eye though.

I tend to shed tears when a character fails to reach his/her goals in life (or even finally reach it and gain recognition- tears of joy) and NOT over a romantic situation.

LIVE ACTION
Dead Poets Society
A Walk to Remember
Edward Scissorhands (Johny Depp's character is dramaticly compelling)
I Am Sam
Stepmom
Armageddon
The Parent Trap
What A Girl Wants (right in the end- when Daphne finally gets what she always wanted)

ANIMATED
The Lion King (when Mufasa dies -I still cry until now when it comes to that scene)
The Land Before Time (the very first movie)

The Notebook, I Am Sam, Ladder 49 (cried the whole way through, and dint stop crying for like half an hr afterwards.), Million Dollar Baby (sooo sad! "my darling"), Brave Heart, Garden State.... and sooo many more.
I work at a cinema and it was hilarious watching all these people (guys and girls) waking out with swollen red eyes, pretending they hadnt cried. i giggled to myself.

I dont know how you people all cried in A Walk to Remeber, i swear that was one of the shittest movies ever made. it doesn't help that i dont like Mandy Moore, but seriously, it was waaaaaaaay too cheesy to be sad, and i thought the acting was crap.
i agree with you 100%

I've only cried over one movie. I was blubbering like a baby. The tears just kept flowing and they wouldn't stop. Luckily I was watching it by myself. I would've felt so stupid crying in front of friends or family over a movie.

I recently watched Selena (it's based on a true story btw) and that movie was so amazing... the ending made me quite emotional. It's quiet memorable movie and i would recommend people to watch it.

I cried recently, after watching one of the simpsons episode.

the one where Homer goes "DOES ANYBODY KNOW THE NUMBER for 911".

I laughed, then I cried :(
