I did question 7 and I quite liked it. I don't think I even considered question 4, I just preferred the Conceptual framework over them all and almost had a mental blank just to name the bloody frames!

I did question 10.
None of the questions fitted to what I had prepared.

I did Question 8 in Frames - about contemporary art challenging traditional art. It was a toss up between that and Question 7. I didn't think it was too bad, just required a slight manipulation of my essay plan....

I did question ten with Rembrandt, Trevor Nickolls and Jackson Pollock. I was hoping there would be a cultural frame question but there wasnt... damn. Anyway I thought the exam was pretty reasonable.

I found it pretty good.
I found section I good, only because i had a few good ideas from
an article i read before-hand about critics and how they can elevate artists. it helped with part 3.

The essays were shocking. i did question 9 about visual language, but i dunno if i did it right. i seriously must have looked at the question every 30 seconds because i kept forgeting it :/
Its one of those questions where u can go off on a tangent, and i think i did that a few times.

oh well. its just my hsc

i did q 7..as did most ppl i spoke to...luckily i read the 'both' part....used Marcel Duchamp and George Gittoes = for`
and Pollock and Van Gogh = againjst

used the idea of artists constantly changing, whether or not they intended on shocking audience

i did ques 9, arguing that art is the visual language, so i could use all my cultural stuff, titian, manet, roberts, duchamp and holzer... jst tlked bout the ideas and interests of a world influencing an artists' way of thinking and thus, their practice.

I did question 9, was closest I could get.
I talked about, George Gittoes, Frida Kahlo, Gorden Bennett and Morimura Yasumasa.

Same. Q9 was one of the easier ones...

I focused particularly on Julie Rrap and Frida Kahlo. (Their work fits well with the frames, especially subjective and structural).

But overall??

grrr! I wish art exams were practical!!

i did 9 as well, talked about holtzer, varvaressos, sherman, kruger, Stelarc, parr, orlan, duchamp, warhol, kozic, bennet, moffart, whiteley, orr and...beyurs. i didnt really relate it directly to the frames but im hoping the markers get my general gist...
