We've been using a mix of visual basic and freebasic. Main rational is that in the HSC you're not using a specific language apart from pseudo code and although VB.net isn't as close to pseudo code, freebasic provides a very easy and friendly environment to practice.

Python 3, but its always good to know some syntax for other languages like Java, even though Java and Python are not very comparable.

Pascal, not sure why we're learning an ancient language at all.

Most kids that touched Pascal did not like the language, because they only learned some very basic commands and how to write a more structured code than their mind was thinking at the time. But Pascal teach you to have a good habit prevent you to write spaghetti and doggy codes.:oink:

VB .net, no idea why, it's not very useful or a good intro to programming imo. :(

Hi. I've already learned HTML and C++ and started learning Python because it's general-purpose language, which means it can be used to build just about anything.
