What ranks will I need? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am in Yr 11 and I am aiming for an ATAR of 98 or more. I go to a school ranked at about 180 and I do Legal Studies at the local TAFE. My classes are:

• Business Studies
• Advanced English
• Advanced Maths
• Extension 1 Maths
• SOR 1 (accelerated, complete 2013)
• Information Technology (accelerated, complete 2013)
• Legal Studies (accelerated at TAFE, complete 2013)
• Extension 2 Maths (planning on taking this next year)

So far I plan on keeping all my subjects next year and picking up Ext 2 Maths. This will leave me with 13 units in the HSC. What kind of ranks will I need in each of my subjects to achieve an ATAR of 98.00?

Giving your marks for your accelerated subjects would help.

I don't have any marks really so far other than IT. In a practice exam with no weighting I got 92%.

Oh shit, I read it as you accelerated them in 2012 lol. I don't know how big your cohorts are, but I would guess that you would need to be atleast top 5 in everything (more or less depending on how many people are doing each subject).
