I went to the skin care specialists called the Clear Skin Clinic in Double Bay. They are the BEST! They told me every brand you buy from the supermarket is absolutely crap and is all Marketing to get you to buy the product. She made me bring in every single product that I had ever used on my skin after I brought them in she gave me a lecturer on how much harm these are doing to my skin then good.
You do realise that clinics are sponsored by companies to endorse their products, and that vendors are paid commission if they can sell them.
She put me on Dermalogica. Its so expensive but its FANTASTIC. Dermalogica is water soluble and won't irritate your skin. It doesn't cause breakouts. Its FANTASTIC. My skin has never looked so good. It glows I even get compliments on it.
Yes, its fantastic to know that your skin has never looked so good and it glows now. Ever considered that maybe it's because your hormones have settled down?
I use the Acne-prone Kit, Daily Microfoliant, Gentle Cream Scrub and the SPF15+ Sunscreen from them its fantastic i love it. I bought all this stuff for $400 dollars but it'll last me for about 8-9 Months. I think its worth it I'd rather spend money on something that will work rather then on something that stuffs my skin up.
I don't think it's worth it. That's like, $50 a month..? You're young. Your skin shouldn't need THAT much product. Imagine what it'll be like when you're 30 or 40. Will you seriously be able to spend thousands of dollars a year on skincare?
My fucking god, sponsor a WorldVision child instead!
Note: If you write $400, then you don't need to add the word 'dollars' at the end.
Nutrimetics she said are the worse, I used that on my skin and she told me its harming your skin rather then making it better. Clean and Clear and Clearasil are really bad as well you might be getting some results but it wrecks havoc on your skin.
MD Formulations is good as well. So give it a go little pricey but these products are not cosmetics they are solely made for your skin. I don't wear makeup and my skin glows. Love it.
I think you've been jiipped. If all these products are "harming your skin rather than making it better", then they'd be off the market. Some of the ones you mentioned are quite up-market products. I seriously doubt the ingredients vary dramatically, and the seller never seems to mention why or how these products are so harmful to your skin.
So in conclusion, i think you're a materialistic idiot who has been duped into spending hundreds of dollars a year on skincare.
