From what I remember about it, it's about emancipation and inner-journeys and descrimination. 'Fighters' about catching a guy cheating, 'Eternal Flame' is about love.

You can say that the social politics explored in seventeen parallel the insecurities Josie experiences in terms of her social stature in the school community. And random shit like that.

Obviosuly, its up to you what you do, but i'd go with that because there's obvious parallels.
