never drop a subject to which it scales the worst...like watatank said, drop the subject that youre not doing good in, or least enjoyable

i think in the hsc exam, you would be tested on yr 11 work, but its very minimal (2 unit had one question based on prelim work, so im guessing general is the same)

depends how your major works are going....

if you have nearly finished then dont drop
take into consideration:

-interest
-future careeR: do you NEED maths to get into a tafe/ uni course?
- ranks: is it worthwhile keeping?
- does it scale well?
- wat is the work load?

...hope it helps

According to my maths teacher, they only examine you on your Yr12 work, however you have to take into account that all the Yr 12 work is based on your Yr 11 work. So it's kind of a Catch 22.

I'm probably wrong... but my maths teacher (adv.) said that 30% is based on prelim work?
