Yeah conquering chem for me too, for a while we were using a pathways one but it was pretty crap. CC is so much easier to understand :p I think we're doing industrial as well coz our teacher has done it for like 5 years and basically knows nothing else i reckon!...oooh but we're pushing for forensic just to be rebellious :D

At school, my teacher dictates from Chemistry Contexts but we also use Conquering.
At home, I use Contexts and Macquarie Revision Guide
Our option is Shipwrecks & Salvage but I reall really really want to Forensic Chemistry, it sounds so interesting but oh well..
Oh for our option, my teacher is using the Surfing series.

Conquering chemistry in class.

At home I use Conquering Chemistry, Macquarie revision, and the teacher's handouts and summaries.

Option: Shipwrecks and corrosion... what else? :p

Yeah how good is macquarie revision? i use it more than the text book coz it tells you clearly all the important stuff without excess baggage. And it rips on excel, for shizzle...

I use conquering chemistry at school and macquarie at home (macquarie is sooooo good). We're doing industrial chemistry *groans* which sounds to me like the most boring option. I so wanna do forensic chemistry

hey we use those booklets for physics written by our own teacher, apparantly he is a gr8 teacher whom everyone understands except us.

Anyways, our chem teacher is pretty organised, we use conquering chem, chem in context, surfing & success 1 at school and they had enough copies for us to use all these at school and let us take 'em for home studies too. so we don't have to carry our text books everyday. At home i have macq guide too. :)

Our chem teacher told us that the chemistry department spent alot of its budget just before they changed syllabus in 2001, rendering the books they bought not as effective as current ones, which is why we dont have the decent ones :(
