surfers was good, but mostly because i was 18, my 17 yr old friends found it pretty sucky....and the melbourne people there were all a scary freaky breed of loser, cept rosco

yeh, goldy definitly...nothing can compare.

When i was there, i went for 4 days in goldy, then i stayed at my mates place at caloundra on the sunny coast for over a week. I reckon give it a few years and the sunshine coast will be bigger than surfers with mooloolaba, maroochydoore and noosa being packed full of people. It was packed this year, but not as much as surfers.

It depends where you're from. Shire ppl tend to go on the cruise, whilst Eastern Suburbs tend to go up the coast....

For my schoolies we went to Forster, coz one of my friends parents own a unit, and we could find suitable accomodation up at surfers. We rented another unit as well coz there wasnt enough room in one unit for 10 of us. We had the best time up there just drinking and going to the beach and hotel pools at night acting like idiots, we tested the local emergency services by requiring both the police and ambulance in the first 2 days we were there
