The Year 11's are ALREADY invading in my school ~aarrrgghhh!!~

apparently a couple of days ago, there's a year 11 meeting for doing extension 2 english!!!

and I heard that there are 15 doing it!!! (in comparison to 9 in my grade and 1 two years ago)

We have the same numbers doing it each year, or thereabouts.

About 10 max each year.
The same goes for Ext1 Eng, which has about 15 or so doing it year in year out.

I also heard that they said that 'we can't keep the current way of doing it'.

i wonder how many are going to drop out next year.

For Extension 1, we had one person dropping it.
For Extension 2, we had 2 of whom had dropped it
(For Extension 3, we had 3... )

Last year was the first time my school did extension 2, and there were 2 people. This year theres 3.

I dunno if anyone will do it next year, I haven't heard anything about the year 11s.

how did your school perform last year?

for the first year that that person did extension 2 (two years ago), the girl got 46/50

Woah! There is 7 doing extension 1 english, and 5 doing extension 2 english at my school. I think small classes are fun!

we just converged together in the school library on tuesday afternoons, where we were free to roam... well eat, write, discuss and argue with the teachers.

for the first 2 terms we had a class on a friday morning for an hour before school. Then we were let free to do our own thing!

oh god i've gotta stay up all night tonight as it is doing my process diary - according to it, the last entry i made was "2:55am Monday 24th February 2003"... i HAVE done more entries since then, i just havent gotten around to stickin them in (sigh)

We started out with a class every week, meeting in the library during a study lesson, but then our teacher had to leave the school for a while.

Since then we've had a whole string of different teachers for ext1 and a woman for ext2 that also marks ext2 at 2 other schools. She emails and phones us, and we have occasional meetings.

Yeah I'm confused too. Is the bibliography just citing our research in the reflection statement, or do we actually have to do a full bibliography?

at our school there's only 4 people doing ext 2 - we had a single lesson once every fortnight.. and then we could go and see her about individual stuff if we wanted to.

i hope we dont have to have a full bibliography.. i think that would take up most of my time this weekend... does n e 1 know? cause if we do.. id better get started now.. lol
