Hey everyone,

I'm currently preparing to study my first year of a BMedSc at the ANU again - last year when I was at this very-same position I dropped out due to illness halfway through first semester. I've done the chemistry bridging course and gotten my feet relatively wet due to my experiences last year, but I have my doubts. Having never studied science outside of university until then, I'm not exactly sure as to what I should be expecting from the degree/my performance.

To those of you who have studied science consistently through from high school to university, what kinds of techniques/strategies did you use to keep your head above the water? And to those who like me haven't studied science prior, but are now doing science-y related things at uni, what things have you found to be most helpful?

Thanks! :D

biggest asset is a brain. unfortunatly every tom dick and harry gets accepted to uni these days, and the drop out rate is very high.

not everyone is capable at uni, its just the harsh reality. but solder on and get your gpa of 1.5/7 and see what science related job u can get when u graduate.
