i really think that 85 though is a low cut off for a mod band 6?

I was thinking this too, only 6% got band 6s last year...That's not many, like compare that to 17% in maths. Of course, modern is subjective as hell

hmm.... but if you compare it to the speculation from other raw band cut offs - it's relative i guess.

im thinking if you go off the performance bands for each essay marking criteria thingo....a 21 puts you in the top band.....so going off that 84 should get a 90?
