Ouch. That's kinda shit though. Even though Psychology is technically not offered by Arts you can still do it as a major in a BA. So it sucks that you can't :SOMG What?!? Now they tell me?
"Dear Student
Your enrolment record for Semester 1, 2009 shows that you are enrolled in a non-Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences course (for example, Psychology).
Students in the combined degree program 3525 Commerce/Arts are only permitted to study courses offered by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The rules for the combined program 3525 Commerce/Arts are stated in the 2009 Handbook at http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/programs/2009/3525.html. It is the responsibility of students to familiarise themselves with and follow such requirements. Although the non-Faculty course is not recognised in the combined Commerce/Arts degree, the Faculty will recognise it as contributing to the Arts component of your degree as an elective. Any future enrolment must contribute to the Arts component of the combined degree. Please ensure that you enrol in the appropriate Arts & Social Science courses in Semester 2.
If you require advice in planning your enrolment please contact the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences Student Centre (9385 2289/arts@unsw.edu.au)

UNSW Handbook Specialisation - Psychology
hm not really.. its sort of the lessons-in-uni-life sort of thing.. which boils down to "the uni aint here to hold your hands was done in high school!"that's crazy.
It's also really stupid that they're only telling you this now. Even if you didn't read the handbook as closely as they expect, surely they must realise students make mistakes all the time? Especially first years?
(and let's not even begin to talk about the mess that is the online information for the science communications degree! )
Teeth burrows.keith burrows doesnt stink anymore yay
So my UTS friend came to UNSW today. Owing to the disparity in the number of couches at our uni, he just lay on random shit complaining about how bad the couches were, like those circular stone ball couches
Need more couches.
