In no particular order..

1. Radiohead - OK Computer
2. Massive Attack - Mezzanine
3. Coldplay - Parachutes
4. Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie
5. Interpol - Turn On the Bright Lights
6. Interpol - Antics
7. Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
8. Placebo - Without You I'm Nothing
9. Coldplay - A Rush of Blood To The Head

Before I read the no particular order bit I was like.. what the fuck? you put turn on the bright lights before antics?
then I read it again and thought, phew.. I can go to sleep now.

In no order, cos that's too hard:

XO - Elliott Smith
Either/Or - Elliott Smith
[Basically all his albums]
Kid A - Radiohead
OK Computer - Radiohead
[Basically all their albums too]
Stories from the city, stories from the sea - PJ Harvey
Parachutes - Coldplay
Pinkerton - Weezer
[or actually the Blue Album, i can't decide]
The Very Best of - Edith Piaf (don't ask why... i don't really know, but i like it :p )
Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots - The Flaming Lips

and, don't laugh at this but
Buffy The Vampire Slayer Soundtrack
it was the first cd i bought, and so holds nostalgic value. it's also actually not that bad.

edited cos the lips are flaming, not faming

are a few good albums of our time and i don't really want to be subjective about them so i'll just list a few that i think should be in the list. They include:

*Blink 182 enema of the state
*good charlotte (self titled)
*korn - follow the leader
*red hot chilie peppers - califorication
*linkin park - hybid theory
*presidents of the united states of america - II
*unwritten law - elva
*anything by the beatles

well i hope some ppl like the albums but my list is based on rock music and not any other type of music so it might not be everyone's cup of tea! :D
Blink 182 - ok
good charlotte - yuk!!
korn - follow the leader - cool
rhcp - californication -yeh but prefer live @hyde park except for under the bridge cause the audience singing in the background ruined it
linkin park -hybrid theory - nice album

and the rest i havent heard

The audience singing in the background is the whole purpoes of a live album...it creates the atmosphere. Otherwise they would have just done another compilation.

let me tell you mate that anything by blink, good charlotte, korn or linkin park must be submitted to your local salvo store to be thrown into a bonfire that warms homeless people because thats all they're good for.

a real top ten albums would include:

the beatles - sgt. peppers
opeth - still life
opeth - blackwater park
metallica - ride the lightning
cryptopsy - whisper supremacy
fear factory - demanufacture
the flaming lips - yoshimi battles the pink robots
eagles - hotel california
jimi hendrix - are you experienced
interpol - turn on the bright lights
